Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to our Copyright Agent. To file a DMCA counter-notification, you must provide a written communication that includes substantially the following:

  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled: Include the URL(s) where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the subscriber has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification: This confirms your belief in the erroneous removal.
  • The subscriber's name, address, and telephone number: Your full legal name, mailing address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that the subscriber consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court: A statement that the subscriber consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located, or if the subscriber's address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which "Honest Crowd Cow Review" may be found, and that the subscriber will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
  • An electronic or physical signature of the subscriber: This validates the counter-notification.
